Answering the question: how do you get what’s in the notebook onto a computer when you’re done? Do you pay someone? Let’s try something different! Instead of being secretive, what if I just show you how I go about writing my next book from start to finish? There are signed copies of The Witch’s Path at @epiloguebooksch in Chapel Hill! Come sip delicious coffee and be a witch. Lots of things in the works! It’s turning out to be a much busier year than I’d anticipated. I know I said I’d mostly be focusing on school and sort of slowly backing out of a lot of public witch commitments…but it turns out I may be working on another big project this upcoming season *regardless* of whatever I though my plans were. More on that when I myself know more! Dreams of Witches by Christina Oakley Harrington finally arrived! This is the Kickstarter edition, but you can find your own copy through @treadwellsbooks via @black.letter.press. It’s so gorgeous, and I’m excited because Harrington is such a brilliant mind and such an important contributor to our communities. Friendship bracelets are an opportunity for knot magic. My friend @elisabew has been reflecting on how we sometimes tie our sense of self-worth to what we produce. Do the things we make matter if people don’t love them? Or if it feels like not enough people look at them, read them, consume them? If the shine wears off down the road, and we move on to the next thing? Does any of it matter? Look at all of these new releases and upcoming titles! See anything that appeals to you? I hope you all had a nice Halloween! And if you’re sad that it’s over…just remember that if you’re an adult you can celebrate Halloween whenever you want. Wear costumes, put on fun makeup, decorate your home, eat candy, watch horror movies, and enjoy pumpkin-flavored things all year. Nobody can stop you. It doesn’t *have* to be over. 😌
